SENSES is kicking off the 20th annual Cowboy Festival on Thursday, April 18, with Saddle Up happening on Main Street in Old Town Newhall.

The City of Santa Clarita’s rich Western heritage takes center stage each year at the Cowboy Festival held on the weekend of April 20 and 21.  The Festival’s gracious hosts, the Veluzat family, will once again open the doors of Melody Ranch™ Motion Picture Studio for the event, providing a venue unlike any other.  The Studio comes to life on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21, 2013, with the sights, sounds, and smells of Cowboy life as performers serenade, vendors serve up Dutch Oven treats, and attendees shop for merchandise that celebrates the past with the flair of today.  For more information or to purchase tickets visit cowboyfestival.org or call (661) 250-3735.

Zombies will be overflowing the Main Street of Old Town Newhall, in the annual Zombie Walk.  Help support the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry, Historical Society, and get zombified.
 
Heritage Haunt

Heritage Junction transforms into an entertaining Halloween experience, filled with haunted walk-through attractions, intense scare zones, roaming scare-actors, and interactive shows.
 
Senses
October 18, 7 – 11pm
Creep on over to SENSES for a chilling good time as costumed characters patrol Main Street.  This free event offers many opportunities to explore Old Town Newhall during the evening hours, as Main Street will transform into a backdrop eerily rich in folk tales, myths, and colorful legends that may chill you to the bone.
 
Underwater Pumpkin Carving

City of Santa Clarita depth defying Halloween celebration will be held at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.  Watch as official pumpkin carvers in SCUBA gear create a masterpiece of pumpkin carvings underwater.
 
Haunted Jailhouse Halloween Carnival

Come to the hauntingly fun jailhouse tour at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station with the whole family for game booths, bounce houses, costume contests, and food.

SENSES Brings Snowfall to Main Street
